Nike Sustainability

In collaboration with Nike working towards the brands “Move to Zero Movement”, I have created a conceptual and hypothetical way to teach sustainable practices among youth, encouraging creative solutions to buying new clothes and “upcycling” old ones instead. NIKE SWOOSH would be described as a “currency through clothing” – designed to connect people through the trade of interchangeable, transformable luxury streetwear.

In a 21st century marketplace, building beautiful solutions isn’t enough. NIKE SWOOSH strives to endorse a way of thinking- a way of feeling, allowing to relieve the tension between the need to be part of a group and to retain personal aesthetic.

The garment is branded as stylish, comfortable street style composed off pieces held together by strong magnets. Each piece is bought with a starting value which is monitored on the app through a tracking chip embedded in each piece. The chip allows for users to see the age of the object and who has previously owned it. Piece value goes up or down depending on the time you have had the piece and the condition it is in.
